Man Jewelry

Yet another thing that i want but will never be able to afford. I've just been cruising the net and looking at blogs and onine shops to check out what's the haps for the winter collections and just what looks cool, as I usually do I ended up on Good As Gold's online store and checked out the man jewelry!
There's some pretty nice necklaces but nothing to outstanding, but there were these two rings by Chronicles Of Never, they're freaking sweet. They were nice and big and were made of oxidized silver, with some nice and intricate designs on them.

Op Shop

The other day Captain Jack had a mediocre shopping experience with his Mummy-Darling. He went out, spent three hours shopping and came home with a very cool Cheap Monday tartan shirt, and a whole lot of disappointment!

So i thought to help with his small clothing crisis, we could go Op Shopping!
of course lacking in any real form of mobility, we really only managed to get to one, but it was worth it!


some adorable glasses i found, $2.50 and the prescription so thick that i cant really tell how they look on me!




Jack got a lovely navy blue cardigan! a must need for everyone's wardrobe.

But sadly in the End Jack didn't find much else. But the Blue Cardigan was only $4 or so, i think we can put that down to a successful shop! (especially since i spent $19 and got two pairs of glasses a bag, a sewing pattern, a cd, a woolen jersey, and a shirt.. AWESOME)

Cheap Monday!

I love shopping.. Buying new stuff, talking to the fun people who run the shops and trying on garments that you would never buy in your life just for the fun of it, it's awesome, so today when I went shopping with my mum (don't mock, mums are awesome and she bought me lunch!) it's needless to say that I was very excited.

So after about an hour and a half of just going into random shops to check out any kind of clothing we started on the more important shops - Stable, Area 51 and Good as Gold - to try and find some expensive on sale!

After trawling through each of the shops looking at and trying on anything that looked cool, I ended up only buying one thing! Which sucked.. But it was a cool one thing! And it's by my new favourite brand! CHEAP MONDAY. They caught my attention with an awesome Pleather jacket called the lucas Jacket, but was way out of my price range, so I settled with an awesome checked shirt which is nice and warm and will hopefully last a while!

The Legend of Gir

For those that enjoyed tv as children and used to just watch whatever was on at the time you turned it on, you will have at some point come across the scarily funny show, "Invader Zim," about an alien invader sent to give perspective on earth to his leaders for a possible invasion. Although a cool/scary program like a lot of Nickelodeon programs, it had one extremely hilarious character who went by the name of Gir!

Gir was Zim's kind of robot servant, who dressed up as a dog for disguise. He was there just to lighten the mood, he had the maturity of small child and did nothing but make silly remarks, eat human food, and just annoy Zim.

So for those who have not experienced Gir, I have left a video for you to watch at the end of this blog. So have fun with that!

Craft 2.0

Saturday April 11th, my mum and i went to Craft 2.0 at the Newdowse.
it was wonderful! a sea of crafty people.
"Craft2.0 is an indie craft fair featuring the best and brightest of the New Zealand craft scene. Our carefully juried shows highlight a wide variety of handmade goods, including handbags and jewellery, baby gifts and paper products, clothing and housewares, one-of-a-kind plushies and original artwork."- Craft 2.o Blog.

it really was fantastic, there was such a range of different things, felted pumpkins, handmade nickers, all sorts of jewelery, Pouffes, bags, things for kids and things for adults, everything!

i totally encourage people to get onto their website (www.craft2.org) and find out when this fantastic fair is coming to a city near you, whether you want to sell or buy its a great thing to see. And of course, if you miss out, just get onto their website or blog and have a look at some of the links to peoples on line stores!

i found it really inspiring. i think I'm going to keep an eye on the website to find out when the next fair will come to wellington! I'm gonna try get involved!

Lucy Cole Garden

During my Sisters stay here, we went shopping where we found the most adorable pair of shoes. made even more adorable by the price! brogues with a heel, from number one shoe warehouse.
Jack and I decided to take them out for walk, he absolutely loves them too, so we went to the Lucy Cole Rose garden around the corner. the shoes are incredibly comfortable! such a bonus. they will now be my new casual shoe, as Captain Jack said "they're elegant but casual.. and cool!" indeed!

to make Good Friday even better, on the way home we treated ourselves to some Chinese takeaways for lunch!

Gilmore Girls vs. Gossip Girl

Sitting Next to Jayne on the ground and in front of the heater I think to myself.. Gilmore Girls isn't as good as I used to think it was.. Maybe because it's an older season that I'm not following.. And then every time I ask a question about the goings on, I get glared at or sighed at by Jayne which isn't that fun!

Buut after Gilmore Girls, sometime during the night/morning, I will get to see the new Gossip Girl episode! Episode 20 of Season 2, it's going to be freaking sweet, I mean the drama going on between Blair and Nate getting back together is pretty sweet and well.. It's Gossip Girl!

Thursday evening thoughts..

Sitting on the floor, watching Gilmore Girls, could it get any better? Rory's troubles and Lorelai's marraige.. Fantastic.

we're on the second season. I have opened Jack's eyes, he has seen the light as it were, he now see's how amazing Gilmore Girls is!

The term has just ended.. the last day of Term One that we will ever have at high school.

Earlier today i made Jack come out with me, all wrapped up in our winter woolies, to get fejoas! i pelted him with them from under the tree, whilst his poor wee hands froze.

These school holidays i am super busy! i'm a busy bee filming for my extra curricular film Loaded, im so excited! i cant wait to "get amongst it" !
