it's raining

it's 11:14pm in wellington, new zealand and of course, it is raining outside. almost as common as my bad grammar and wrong use of apostrophes and full stops.

will post more actual things in the days to come.

subjects will most likely revolve around skateboarding, but i will try to involve fashion, photography, music, and how much i love doing nothing.

jason lee

okay you all might know him as earl from 'my name is earl' but before that.. alright?.. he was way cooler.. still is now really.
jason lee in the late eighties and early nineties was a professional skater, a dam good one at that. he skate for companies like airwalk and blind, as well as creating his own skateboard company, that he recently re-established, with chris pastras called stereo sound agency skateboards.
after a successful career in skateboarding (which is still continued today with involvement with stereo and wesc) he went to acting, becoming know in the film mallrats which was a prelude to films such as clerks, and jay and silent bob.
he's now heavily involved with the brand wesc or WearetheSuperlativeConspiracy which makes clothes, headphones and other rather rad stuff.

all in all jason lee is the man. he can skate like a freak, wears fairly sweet clothing, and ain't that bad at acting. plus, he's dam handsome as well.

so that's jason lee.. another post on some sort of skateboarding but.. deal with it bitches

long time no.. anything

okay speaking on behalf of myself only i apologise for the lack of posts lately (jayne's just selfish.. ahah).
let me fill you in on the goings on and why there has been this hiatus.
i've just begun my fourth week of the second trimester of university so my time has pretty much been dedicated to trying to get back into that sort of thing, also for the past two weeks the wellington international film festival has been going on so i've been working more hours than usual meaning my downtime has been spent away from the computer, or on it and not wanting to post.

but i have a few things to let you all know about!

firstly the lookbooks/new seasons for chronicles of never, and henrik vibskov have been released and are looking very nice. chronicles has really just been chronicles.. a lot of black and grey etc. and very abstract (and expensive) stuff. henrik however looks wonderful and fun, i've always liked his stuff and this season's weirdness is fantastic. check out the good as gold blog for the slides/pictures or hit up the sites!

secondly i've recently (many of you will already know) become obsessed with skateboarding again.. so really.. all i'm trying to say is.. try it. i'm forcing jayne to and it's going pretty good! so do it

I want a new watch. I currently wear a cheap mens watch that I got from the Warehouse for $30. I decided to get a watch when i realized i had almost forgotten how to read an analogue clock. I have also apparently lost the ability to tie my own shoes, but thats another story. My current one has a big face, two tone, and it sits really high on my wrist which is becoming more and more annoying as it gets colder. I chose my watch largely because Jack said he saw Whitney Port wearing a similar one (I am so easily swayed). I now have my eye on one that looks like one that Carrie wears in the Sex and the City Series, season 2 or 3. Its gold with a blue face. But i rarely wear gold jewelery.
The watch i reeeally want though is a gold version of Jacks Casio (huh. the computer knows that Casio needs a capital letter) watch but I can't find it anywhere.

I've had the first week or so of my holidays and I don't want them to end.

all throughout summer i was wishing to the world that someone would bring out some simple staple clothing with nice neutral or pastel colouring at a reasonable price and dr denim listened.

their latest collection is full of nice simple pants, shirts, cardigans and jackets. nothing that would make you stand out in a crowd, but stuff that makes you look like you have some sort of taste in clothing - very useful.
